At WSH, quality assurance begins with advance quality planning and continues in the sense of total quality management through all areas of operation. We comply with the latest quality and environmental requirements. Our production processes are monitored according to the principle of worker self-inspection with CAQ-supported quality control charts in order to be able to react to systematic changes at an early stage. Our trained specialists have access to the latest testing methods in order to achieve our claim of “best quality”.

Essential quality assurance measures at WSH:

• Spectral analysis of the raw material in the incoming goods department
• Barcode-supported traceability of the raw material
• Production-related CAQ measuring stations with automatic monitoring of test intervals and test events
• Use of optical measuring machines for automatic measurement of the manufactured products as part of the factory self-inspection
• Destructive material testing and metallographic examinations during heat treatment
• Determination of torques and friction coefficients on the screw test bench
• Corrosion tests in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9227 NSS (salt spray test)

On many paths into the future

The screws manufactured by our employees are predominantly installed in “premium products”. We therefore meet the high demands of our customers. However, this also results in the permanent challenge of making what is already good even better: for our customers, but also for us and our company.

TPM offers us the necessary methods and tools to achieve our quality goals. This is the objective with which we started to introduce TPM at WSH.

Specifically, we want to achieve that:

• work processes are structured and transparent for everyone in all areas of the company
• all employees are involved and trained, and thus actively participate in the continuous improvement process
• successes along the way are highlighted and made economically viable for the benefit of the company and its employees
